What exactly is a hackathon? Let’s start with what it’s not. It IS NOT a gathering of people performing illegal hacking and has nothing to do with breaching security. 

It does not involve any type of literal ax - that’s just ThinkData’s hack t-shirt. This is where the hack adventure begins… Jess Parks was asked to design our hack t-shirt. I got her started with “we need a t-shirt design for our hack” and she went to Google for inspiration, and this is where the axes come from on our shirt. I love our T-shirt, which is why I wear it as much as I drink coffee.
