About 5 years ago I had a highly respected entrepreneur ask me, “What do you get out of this?” 

He was referring to hosting events like today’s event #InternEvent2018 but then it was Intern Event 2013. I have never stopped thinking about his question. Every time I host anything I remember him stopping me and asking me in the atrium of the Innovation Depot. 

Not every event we host is without sponsor dollars. Not every event we host is free. However, every event we host however is full of love for people, educating them and sharing knowledge. 

When Daniel Bishop asked me why couldn’t we offer the students of Troy University an opportunity to network like we do in the real world – it was a no-brainer.
