THINKDATA SOLUTIONS, INC. DATA ANALYST APPRENTICESHIP FILLS FIRST APPRENTICESHIP COHORT
BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA – ThinkData Solutions, Inc., an Alabama-based company and leading provider of customized solutions to data-related challenges and creator of data learning paths, announces the launch of its inaugural data analyst apprenticeship cohort on September 30, 2024. The ThinkData Apprenticeship is a federally registered program that teaches to the national standard for data analytics training.
ThinkData is proud to partner with Robins & Morton, Prosper, and Navigate Affordable Housing Partners in its first cohort. Each firm has enrolled employees from various departments — ranging from mid to senior levels — to increase their data skills while applying their knowledge immediately to their jobs. The apprentices will also add to the overall data abilities of their employers.
“New technology allows us to collect and analyze more data than ever before, but there continues to be a major gap in educational programs that equip people with the skills to translate those insights into core business functions,” Robins & Morton Vice President of People and Development Aimee Comer said. “ThinkData’s Apprenticeship Program is dedicated to filling that gap and providing customized support to an evolving workforce. We are thrilled that several of our team members were selected for the inaugural class and look forward to seeing the many ways they’ll grow in this program.”

Apprentices prove their mastery of competencies by earning the CompTIA Data+ certification. This certification assesses core domains in data analytics that are seen in any role that works with data. Employers of the apprentices gain talent that can analyze and report on complex datasets, adhere to oversight and data quality standards, and perform other work to transform business requirements that support data-informed decisions.
