About the Role
As a Data Analyst Apprentice, you will transform raw data into actionable insights that support business decisions. You will work with databases, data sets, and basic analysis. You will develop visualizations that can be standalone or part of a larger data effort for dashboards. You will have process automation opportunities with existing Excel spreadsheets that are due for update with all the changes in tech.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll gain hands-on experience, utilizing the skills acquired from the CompTIA Data+ bootcamp to collect, analyze, and interpret data. You’ll collaborate with various departments and contribute to building data-driven strategies within a real-world business setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Preparation: Gather, clean, and organize data from various sources while ensuring data integrity.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create clear visualizations and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Data Analysis: Use statistical methods to uncover trends and insights that drive business outcomes.
- Data Governance: Ensure data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and support data security best practices.
- Collaboration: Work with professionals across departments to meet data needs and contribute to projects.
- Problem-Solving: Apply data-driven approaches and critical thinking to solve business challenges.

- Data Literacy: Strong understanding of data types, structures, and concepts from the CompTIA Data+ curriculum.

- Tools & Technologies: Proficiency in SQL, scripting and coding, Power BI, Excel, and other data tools for analysis and reporting.
